Dubai Land Department Introduces Digital Sale Service To Enhance Real Estate Transactions Via Dubai Now App

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has introduced the initial phase of the 'Digital Sale' service via the Dubai Now app during GITEX Global 2025. This initiative highlights Dubai's dedication to digital transformation, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033. It sets new standards for real estate transaction speed, reliability, and efficiency, supporting a sustainable, knowledge-based digital economy.

Customers can now complete real estate transactions entirely online using the Dubai Now app. The process employs electronic signatures through the UAE Pass app, allowing users to finalise transactions anytime and anywhere. This aligns with Dubai's goal of providing services through unified digital channels. The service simplifies procedures and enhances security, trust, and transparency in real estate dealings.

Dubai Launches Digital Sale Service on App

This service boosts DLD’s role in transforming real estate sales, purchases, and registrations for individual customers. It accelerates processes while ensuring high security standards. By offering proactive and intelligent services, it strengthens Dubai’s real estate market competitiveness and solidifies its status as a top global destination for sustainable investment.

The Digital Sale service offers a fully remote experience starting with the electronic creation of a sale contract. The seller signs it and sends it to the buyer via the platform for completion. After payment is transferred to a dedicated account, an ownership certificate is instantly issued in the buyer’s name through the app.

To complete Digital Sale transactions smoothly on the Dubai Now app, certain requirements must be met. Both parties need a valid Emirates ID and an active UAE Pass account for verified digital signatures. Properties must be in freehold areas and classified as residential units, commercial units, or residential townhouses without mortgages.

The Dubai Now app serves as a comprehensive digital platform offering over 350 services from 50 government and private entities. Available on both App Store and Google Play, it provides users with easy access to various city services.

Showcasing Technological Advancements

At GITEX Global 2025, DLD also presented its Real Estate Instant Registration Platform. This advanced dashboard displays real-time property transaction data across Dubai’s districts, enhancing transparency and trust in the market. Additionally, DLD unveiled several innovative digital projects aimed at boosting operational efficiency and customer experience.

The Digital Sale service arrives amid strong performance in Dubai’s real estate sector in recent years. It aims to sustain growth momentum by paving the way for fully digital real estate services. This innovation-driven ecosystem further cements Dubai's leadership in attracting global real estate investments.

This initiative reflects DLD's commitment to redefining customer experiences by simplifying procedures while maintaining high security levels. It supports Dubai's vision of becoming a leading global hub for sustainable investment by fostering an environment conducive to innovation-driven growth.
