Dubai International Chamber Prepares For Trade Mission To Serbia And Türkiye In October 2023
Dubai International Chamber, under the Dubai Chambers umbrella, has finalised plans for a trade mission to Serbia and Türkiye. This mission, part of the 'New Horizons' initiative, will occur from 6th to 11th October. The initiative supports Dubai businesses in expanding into key global markets.
The Chamber recently held a briefing at its headquarters for the delegation members. These representatives come from diverse sectors like electronics, food and beverages, pipeline products, IT, brand protection, technology, airport services, retail, textiles, and energy and mobility solutions.

During the briefing session, participants learned about the mission's programme. It includes bilateral business meetings between Dubai companies and their counterparts in Serbia and Türkiye. These interactions aim to explore cooperation opportunities and establish new trade and investment agreements.
The delegation received comprehensive briefings on the mission's objectives. They were also provided with detailed market intelligence for both Serbia and Türkiye to aid in their business endeavours.
The 'New Horizons' initiative is part of broader efforts by Dubai International Chamber to promote global expansion for Dubai-based companies. This initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and aims to help companies explore opportunities in 30 priority markets worldwide.
Earlier this year, the Chamber organised two trade missions to Southeast Asia and West Africa. These missions facilitated over 830 B2B meetings between participating companies from Dubai and these regions. The goal was to explore investment opportunities and foster joint economic partnerships.
This upcoming mission underscores Dubai International Chamber's commitment to supporting local businesses in accessing international markets. By fostering such connections, the Chamber aims to enhance trade relations and open new avenues for growth.
