Dubai International Boat Show 2024 To Mark 30th Edition With Global Maritime Showcase
The Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS), the premier marine and lifestyle event in the Middle East, is gearing up for an extraordinary showcase at the Dubai Harbour district from 28 February to 3 March 2024. Celebrating its 30th edition, DIBS will feature an impressive lineup of over 1,000 brands and more than 200 boats from top global shipyards such as Azimut, Sunseeker Gulf, Gulf Craft, and others. This year's event is set to host 46 boat launches, with IMG Boats, Riviera Boats, and Al Fajer among those announcing new vessels.
Organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), the show has been a pivotal platform for the world’s largest marine brands for three decades, offering unparalleled opportunities for sales and networking. The event is expected to draw exhibitors from over 55 countries, including four making their debut. With the Middle East housing 12.6% of the world’s superyacht fleet and a luxury yacht market projected to grow significantly by 2028, DIBS plays a crucial role in driving sales across the regional and international yachting industry.

At a press conference, Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council and Senior Advisor to DIBS, highlighted the show's importance in introducing new maritime companies and innovations. The event not only celebrates its growth but also Dubai's position as a global yachting tourism hub. The upcoming edition will also focus on sustainability efforts, including the Dubai Reef project announced at COP28, underlining Dubai’s commitment to environmental conservation.
The Dubai Boat Show Leisure Yachting Conference on February 27 will serve as a prelude to the main event, bringing together over 100 industry leaders to discuss innovation, regulation, sustainability, and the future of the sector. Trixie LohMirmand, Executive Vice President of DWTC, emphasized that this year’s edition marks a significant milestone and reflects Dubai’s evolution as a leading yachting destination while promoting sustainable practices within the industry.
With a rich history of facilitating collaboration among maritime investors, experts, and enthusiasts, DIBS 2024 promises to be a transformative event that further strengthens the regional maritime industry. The show offers an unmatched platform for exploring the latest trends and innovations in the maritime world, reaffirming Dubai’s status as a global leader in luxury yachting and sustainability.
