Dubai Industrial City has secured over AED350 million in investments from the food and beverage (F&B) sector in 2024. The city, part of TECOM Group PJSC's business districts, attracted more than 25 F&B clients who leased 1.7 million sq.ft. of industrial space, highlighting Dubai's role as a hub for innovation and market growth.
Significant investments in Dubai Industrial City last year included Silver Line Gate Group's (SLG Group) new hub. This facility will produce over 100,000 tonnes of dairy products annually, including milk and butter. Construction of SLG Group's manufacturing, warehouse, and office facilities has begun and is set to open this year.

Pure Ice Cream also signed a musataha agreement in 2024 to establish a production facility within Dubai Industrial City. This factory will become one of the UAE's largest ice cream producers by 2026, tripling Pure Ice Cream's annual output capacity.
Dubai Industrial City's strategic location near Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, an Etihad Rail freight terminal, and major roads enhances its appeal. The city hosts over 1,100 local and international manufacturing leaders and more than 350 operational factories.
The community generates over 70 megawatts of clean energy annually. This environmental contribution is bolstered by a memorandum of understanding with Siemens to promote industrial efficiencies for sustainable development.
Commitment to Food Security
"Localised manufacturing is essential to drive socioeconomic prosperity through the F&B sector," stated Saud Abu Alshawareb, Executive Vice President of Industrial at TECOM Group. He emphasised the need to support value chains for sustainable growth and food security in line with the UAE's National Food Security Strategy 2051.
The agreement with Siemens was signed during Dubai Industrial City's 20th anniversary celebrations in 2024. It aims to enhance industrial efficiencies for long-term sustainability within the district.
Dubai Industrial City continues to attract significant investments from the F&B sector, reinforcing its position as a key player in regional industrial growth.
