Dubai To Host NVIDIA RTX AI GameCraft Competition Celebrating Innovation In Gaming On January 23

Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) is teaming up with NVIDIA GeForce Middle East to host the NVIDIA RTX AI GameCraft event. This initiative aims to highlight innovation in video game development, reinforcing Dubai's status as a global gaming and AI hub. Scheduled for 23rd January, the event will take place at Emirates Towers Boulevard, drawing game developers, students, and industry experts worldwide.

The competition will focus on the theme "Dubai: Between the Past and the Future." Participants will create games that reflect Dubai's rich history and its forward-looking vision. A panel of expert judges will evaluate the entries, selecting 15 finalists and awarding prizes to the top three winners.

Launched in November 2023 by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, DPG33 aims to position Dubai among the top 10 cities in the global gaming industry. The program seeks to generate 30,000 new jobs and significantly boost Dubai's digital economy by increasing GDP by approximately US$1 billion by 2033.

Faisal Kazim, Head of DPG33, stated, "The convergence of AI and human creativity is redefining the gaming landscape on a global scale. By collaborating with NVIDIA, we aim to provide developers, creatives, and entrepreneurs with cutting-edge opportunities to create unique digital experiences in Dubai."

Kazim further explained that DPG33 is committed to making Dubai a leading hub for the global games industry. The program focuses on attracting top studios and talent while fostering strategic partnerships. This approach aims to strengthen Dubai's vibrant gaming community through innovative governance and emerging technologies.
