Dubai Holiday Homes Business Group Launched By Dubai Chamber Of Commerce To Support Sector Growth

Dubai Chamber of Commerce has created the Holiday Homes Business Group under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers. The new body brings together firms that manage short-term rentals. It aims to give these companies a stronger common voice and support growth in Dubai’s expanding holiday homes sector.

The initiative responds to steady expansion in the emirate’s holiday homes market. Companies active in this field and registered with Dubai Chamber of Commerce now number 2,928. Rising international visitor arrivals, supported by Dubai’s tourism performance, have increased demand for holiday homes across many areas of the city.

Dubai Chamber launches Holiday Homes Group

The Holiday Homes Business Group is expected to act as a structured channel between government entities and private operators. It provides a space to discuss current market conditions, investment prospects, and operational obstacles. Members can also explore ways to refine existing policies and encourage the holiday homes sector’s long-term development.

The group plans to submit recommendations aimed at improving regulatory policies that affect the sector. It will focus on supporting sustainable expansion and raising professional standards across member companies. The work will also include explaining legal requirements to operators, which is designed to increase compliance and support Dubai’s positioning as a leading global tourism destination.

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, said, "The launch of the Holiday Homes Business Group represents a significant step that will boost the sustainability and competitiveness of this vital sector. It provides an effective platform to represent the interests of companies operating in the field and strengthen cooperation among key stakeholders." "This initiative forms part of Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s efforts to strengthen the role of Business Groups as a vital link between the business community and decision-makers, helping to shape an enabling legislative and regulatory environment, promote the exchange of best practices, and drive innovation across all sectors."
