Dubai Health Implements Press Ganey Patient Survey Programme To Enhance Patient Experience
Dubai Health has introduced the Press Ganey Patient Survey Programme to enhance patient-centred care and clinical excellence within its academic healthcare system. This initiative focuses on four main goals: assessing patient perceptions, identifying areas for improvement, benchmarking against top healthcare systems, and enhancing service quality. The survey will be conducted across various care settings in Dubai Health, gathering feedback at each stage of the patient journey.
The surveys are distributed after patients interact with healthcare services, allowing them to provide valuable insights into their experiences. Targeted groups include inpatients, same-day surgery patients, outpatients, emergency cases, dialysis patients, home healthcare recipients, telemedicine users, rehabilitation patients, and dental care recipients.

Dr. Amer Sharif, CEO of Dubai Health, emphasised the importance of this initiative by stating that it enables the capture of insights throughout the patient journey. He noted that this effort enhances the quality and experience for those served by Dubai Health. Dr. Sharif highlighted that this aligns with their "Patient First" value and supports the Dubai Social Agenda 33's goal of delivering a world-class healthcare system.
He further stated, "We remain firmly committed to delivering care that meets the highest international standards. Listening to patient feedback allows us to better understand needs, make evidence-based decisions, and continuously evolve our services to improve health outcomes and patient satisfaction."
The Press Ganey programme provides a robust tool for analysing patient experiences in real-time. It aims to improve operational performance and ensure transparency across all care settings. Patients are encouraged to participate actively in shaping healthcare delivery by completing the survey after receiving care.
This comprehensive approach ensures that feedback is gathered from a wide range of patients. By doing so, Dubai Health can identify actionable improvements and benchmark its performance against leading regional and international healthcare systems.
Through these efforts, Dubai Health aims to continuously evolve its services based on evidence-based decisions derived from patient feedback. This commitment not only improves health outcomes but also enhances overall patient satisfaction.
