Dubai Health Completes 15 Life-Saving Heart Surgeries Under Nabadat 2025 Initiative
Dubai Health has successfully completed 15 heart surgeries for patients of various ages and nationalities as part of the second edition of the "Nabadat" campaign in 2025. This initiative, led by Al Jalila Foundation in collaboration with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity Establishment, aims to provide comprehensive care for those with congenital and chronic heart conditions at Dubai Health hospitals.
The announcement aligns with World Heart Day, observed every year on September 29. It highlights Dubai Health's commitment to global efforts in raising awareness about heart disease and delivering impactful healthcare programs that can change lives. The Nabadat campaign is a testament to this dedication.

Saleh Zaher Al Mazrouei, Director-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity Establishment, expressed pride in launching and leading the Nabadat campaign alongside Al Jalila Foundation. He said, "We are proud to have launched and lead the Nabadat campaign, which embodies the deeply rooted values of solidarity within our society, in collaboration with Al Jalila Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Dubai Health."

Al Mazrouei added that Nabadat is one of their leading humanitarian initiatives aimed at saving lives of children and adults with congenital heart defects. It offers them a healthier future while highlighting the power of community partnerships in creating lasting impacts in healthcare.
Dr. Obaid Mohammed Al Jassim, Consultant and Head of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Dubai Hospital and Medical Director of Nabadat initiative, explained that all 15 surgeries were completed successfully despite their complexity. The medical team handled challenging cases involving open-heart surgeries and catheter interventions.

Dr. Al Jassim emphasised that Nabadat has been successful in achieving its goals by restoring hope to many adults and children suffering from heart conditions.
