Dubai Health Announces 24-Hour Operations At Al Lusaily Health Centre
Dubai Health will start 24-hour operations at Al Lusaily Health Centre from 1st January 2026, expanding access to urgent and routine care for residents. The move strengthens system readiness and extends the network of around-the-clock facilities across Dubai, giving communities in and around Al Lusaily continuous access to primary and emergency healthcare services.
Al Lusaily Health Centre will join existing Dubai Health sites that already operate 24 hours, including Nad Al Hamar, Al Barsha, and Dubai Airports medical centres. Across the emirate, Dubai Health manages 14 ambulatory health centres, which deliver primary care for all ages, preventive services, regular screenings, and long-term management for chronic diseases.

The expansion at Al Lusaily Health Centre follows community input collected through the "Dubai Health Majalis: Voice of the Community" initiative. This programme gives residents a direct channel to share views on healthcare services. The initiative aligns with the Year of Community 2025, translating public feedback into service changes and promoting continuity of care across Dubai.
Khalifa Baqer, Chief Operating Officer at Dubai Health, said, "The transition to round-the-clock operations at Al Lusaily Health Center forms part of a broader set of initiatives driven by community feedback gathered through the Dubai Health Majalis." Baqer stated that the organisation aims to make sure service development reflects actual needs raised by people using the centres. "This initiative was launched in alignment with the Year of Community 2025 and reflects our commitment to putting community feedback into action while ensuring the continuity and advancement of our healthcare service delivery."
During the Year of Community 2025, Dubai Health held five community Majalis in Umm Suqeim, Al Khawaneej, Dubai Club for People of Determination, Al Rashidiya, and Al Lusaily. Commenting on the clinical role, Dr. Ayesha AlBasti, Chair of Family Medicine at Dubai Health, said, "With this step, Al Lusaily Health Centre will join the Nad Al Hamar, Al Barsha, and Dubai Airports medical centres, which also operate around the clock. The centre will provide integrated medical care across several specialties, including family medicine and emergency care." The extended hours are expected to support local residents and visitors by ensuring consistent access to multidisciplinary medical care.
