Dubai Health Authority Partners With ESCP Business School For AI Leadership Training Initiative
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has partnered with ESCP Business School to launch a specialised training programme for its healthcare leaders. This initiative, announced during Dubai AI Week, focuses on the strategic use of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. The programme is crafted with input from global experts in AI, cybersecurity, and data strategy.
Upon completion of the six-week course, 30 executives and department heads from DHA will receive an internationally recognised diploma from ESCP Business School in Paris. The training aims to equip participants with advanced knowledge and practical tools to implement AI technologies effectively. This will enhance their strategic decision-making capabilities and support data-driven approaches.

The programme's design focuses on improving efficiency, fostering innovation, and ensuring sustainable performance through the strategic adoption of AI technologies. It also aims to prepare the Authority to keep up with fast-paced global advancements. Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Director-General of DHA, highlighted the initiative's significance in developing leadership that can leverage AI across all healthcare sectors.
Al Ketbi emphasised that this effort aligns with national priorities and Dubai’s vision for the future. He stated that it is part of DHA’s ongoing mission to enhance leadership skills for data-driven strategic decisions and smart technology adoption. This approach aims to boost Dubai's competitiveness in digital health globally.
Al Ketbi remarked on the partnership with ESCP Business School—founded in 1819 as the first business school worldwide—as a testament to DHA's commitment to global best practices. He noted that this collaboration fosters an interactive learning environment reflecting future transformations while addressing rapid AI advancements across various sectors, including healthcare.
Cédric Denis-Remis from ESCP Business School expressed that this partnership underscores DHA’s dedication to workforce development according to top international standards in leadership and digital transformation. He explained that the programme offers a unique educational experience by combining theoretical knowledge with practical application.
Empowering Healthcare Leaders
Denis-Remis conveyed confidence in the programme’s ability to empower healthcare leaders by enhancing their roles in applying AI for a more efficient and sustainable healthcare future. This collaboration exemplifies a synergy between global academic expertise and forward-thinking government strategies.
The initiative aims to strengthen Dubai's healthcare system readiness for technological shifts while reinforcing its status as a global hub for health innovation and AI applications. By equipping leaders with essential skills, DHA seeks to ensure they are prepared for future challenges in digital health.
