DHA Showcases Services for People of Determination

This initiative seeks to improve life quality in Dubai by promoting mental wellbeing among students. It focuses on creating supportive environments, changing negative perceptions about mental health, and raising awareness among students, families, and healthcare providers.

Dr. Al Blooshi highlighted that this service is offered free-of-charge by DHA in collaboration with partners like Appolonia Dental Centre and Dr. Joy Dental Clinic. It adheres to high standards and best healthcare protocols.

The community has responded positively to these efforts. DHA has conducted 67 lectures and workshops, benefiting nearly 5,000 people recently. This engagement reflects the community's support for mental health initiatives.

During the AccessAbilities Expo, DHA will also present its Early Eye Health Screening Programme as part of its annual school health services plan implemented across Dubai.

Eye Health Initiatives

This programme aims to enhance life quality by providing additional medical care for students of determination. It focuses on preventing eye diseases and encouraging regular eye check-ups for children.

The service is provided free of charge by a specialised team using best practices and equipment. Partners include Al Jaber Optical Centres and Moorfields Eye Hospital Dubai.

Dr. Al Blooshi noted that parents are informed about their children's eye health through this programme. This ensures early detection of any issues and promotes regular eye examinations.

The DHA's participation in the AccessAbilities Expo highlights its commitment to empowering people of determination through comprehensive health services and initiatives aimed at improving their quality of life in Dubai.
