Dubai Future Experts Programme Launches Fifth Cycle With 21 Participants From Various Entities

The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) has introduced the fifth edition of the Dubai Future Experts Programme (DEEP). This initiative is crafted to equip professionals with the necessary foresight, skills, and tools to lead innovation research in Dubai. The programme is unique globally, aiming to enhance Dubai's talent pool and prepare government personnel for future challenges.

Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of DFF, stated, "Equipping future experts from within Dubai Government’s strategic sectors is key to strengthening human capital and reinforcing the emirate’s status as a global leader in different sectors. Graduates of this programme will emerge as certified future analysts and executives, driving Dubai’s leadership in future design and supporting the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33."

Now in its fifth cycle, DEEP continues to set a global standard for public sector capacity-building. Organised by DFF alongside the Executive Council of Dubai, it combines visionary research with practical application. The programme aims to drive transformational initiatives in strategic sectors that influence societal and economic futures.

This year’s cohort includes 21 Emirati employees from 16 different entities. Participants engage in workshops and modules led by futurists and subject-matter experts. These sessions provide valuable insights and practical tools for strategic foresight. Upon completion, graduates receive certification from DFF in their chosen specialisations.

The first phase of DEEP runs until June 2025. It offers an intensive educational journey through all stages of future foresight. This phase concludes with a research project exploring potential future scenarios for Dubai. The second phase occurs from September to October 2025. During this time, participants develop an original foresight project with clear recommendations and an implementation roadmap.

Graduates automatically join a vibrant community of future experts. They gain access to exclusive fellowship opportunities within DFF's global programmes, initiatives, and ecosystems. This network supports ongoing learning and collaboration among professionals dedicated to shaping the future.

DEEP stands as a pioneering government initiative worldwide. It focuses on preparing government talent for future challenges by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge. The programme's structure ensures participants are well-prepared to contribute effectively to Dubai's strategic goals.
