Dubai CommerCity Unveils Comprehensive Agenda And Speakers For WORLDEF Dubai 2024 Forum

Dubai CommerCity, a pioneering free zone dedicated to digital commerce, is set to host the WORLDEF Dubai 2024 forum. This event, supported by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, will occur from 4-5 December. The forum aims to gather over 5,000 visitors from 40 countries to discuss digital trade innovations and trends.

The event will kick off with an opening speech by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade. A keynote address will follow from Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Executive Chairman of DIEZ and Chairman of Dubai CommerCity. The forum will also welcome Murodali Alimardon, Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan.

WORLDEF Dubai 2024 Forum Agenda Unveiled

Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni stated, "Dubai has succeeded in establishing its leading position as a global leader in the digital commerce sector. This achievement is driven by forward-thinking initiatives and strategies aimed at accelerating digital transformation, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai."

The forum's agenda highlights international collaboration's role in driving progress and innovation. Omar Nart, CEO of WORLDEF, remarked on the diverse lineup of speakers from digital commerce sectors who will shape global commerce's future.

The forum will feature panel discussions on topics like digital trade's future, marketing strategies, logistics services, payment solutions, and AI's role. Case studies will provide insights into international expansion strategies and multi-channel trade technologies.

A significant session will include His Excellency Mohammed Ali Rashid Lootah discussing growth opportunities under Dubai Economic Agenda D33. This initiative aims to double Dubai's economy size by 2033 and enhance its global digital economy role.

Industry Leaders Share Insights

Speakers from various sectors will participate in the forum. Faraz Khalid from Noon will discuss quick commerce innovations like delivery models and last-mile logistics. Tradeling’s CEO Alastair Croker will explore B2B e-commerce's future in MENA.

Representatives from Meta, Amazon, Alibaba, Microsoft, among others, are expected to attend. Hadi Badri from Dubai Economic Development Corporation will join a panel on Dubai’s role as a global e-commerce hub.

Sustainability in Logistics

A panel on sustainable logistics will feature Manosij Ganguli from Aramex and Enes Yılmaz from Turkish Cargo discussing green transportation practices. Tobias Schoenberg from Roland Berger will cover waste reduction and energy efficiency improvements across supply chains.

This session aims to integrate sustainability into logistics operations to help companies meet their environmental goals effectively.
