Dubai Civil Aviation Authority Collaborates With Keeta Drones To Enhance Drone Delivery Safety Standards
Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Keeta Drones. This agreement aims to boost Dubai's position as a global aviation hub and advance drone delivery operations. The focus is on ensuring safety and security in Dubai's airspace, aligning with local and international standards.
The MoU was signed by Mohammed Abdullah Lengawi, Director-General of DCAA, and Dr. Yinian Mao, Chairman of Keeta Drones. The collaboration involves evaluating drone operation zones, assessing infrastructure needs for these zones, reviewing airspace requirements, and ensuring safety for effective drone deliveries across Dubai.

Mohammed Abdullah Lengawi commented on the partnership, stating that it underscores DCAA’s commitment to implementing Dubai’s leadership vision. He highlighted the importance of creating an environment conducive to emerging aviation technologies while maintaining regulatory frameworks that enhance safety and streamline operations.
He further stated, "The Authority strives to enhance the standards of airspace security and safety for the Emirate of Dubai while fostering an attractive and stimulating investment environment that, in turn, attracts foreign investments. Our mission is to make a difference and leave a significant mark on the future of the aviation industry."
Dr. Yinian Mao expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with DCAA. He noted that this partnership will enable Keeta Drones to expand its operations by establishing routes across Dubai. The company plans to offer more services while adhering to safety standards and working with DCAA to transform Dubai into a leader in smart transportation.
The MoU also seeks to enhance joint coordination for achieving effective safety objectives in Dubai's airspace. Keeta Drones is committed to operating within designated areas as per DCAA regulations. This includes adhering to all necessary guidelines set forth by the authority.
