Dubai Charity Association Contributes AED 1.5 Million To Enhance Health Programmes In Dubai
Dubai Charity Association has pledged AED1.5 million to enhance Dubai Health's programmes and initiatives. This donation will aid Al Jalila Foundation, the charitable arm of Dubai Health, and Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU), its educational division.
The allocation includes AED1 million for Al Jalila Foundation’s A’awen programme, which offers financial support to patients needing urgent medical care throughout the UAE. The remaining AED500,000 is designated for medical scholarships at MBRU, fostering the growth of future healthcare experts.

This contribution underscores Dubai Charity Association’s dedication to bolstering healthcare and education, essential sectors for community wellbeing and sustainable development. Ahmed Ibrahim Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Dubai Charity Association, presented the donation to Dr. Amer Al Zarooni, CEO of Al Jalila Foundation at Dubai Health headquarters.
Present at the event were Mostafa Karam, Vice Chairman of Dubai Charity Association Board, and Eng. Adel Obaid Al Suwaidi, Board Member and Treasurer. Their presence highlighted the importance of this initiative in promoting health and education in the region.
