Dubai Chambers Joins Forces With VFS Global To Support Local Companies' Global Growth
Dubai Chambers has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with VFS Global, a leading visa outsourcing and technology service provider. This agreement aims to boost trade and investment for Dubai-based companies through VFS Global's extensive international network.
The MoU is part of the 'Global Partnership Programme,' an initiative by Dubai International Chamber, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers. This programme seeks to enhance the chamber’s efforts in attracting and expanding businesses by collaborating with top-tier service providers across eight trade categories. The services offered will streamline processes, reduce costs, and mitigate risks for companies based in Dubai.

Under this agreement, VFS Global will offer strategic services to help Dubai-based firms expand globally. These services include evaluating potential partners in international markets through due diligence. The goal is to reduce market entry barriers and speed up the ability of these companies to seize commercial opportunities.
Dubai-based businesses will benefit from VFS Global’s global network of offices and resources. These resources provide various services and solutions aimed at facilitating smoother entry into global markets. This collaboration is expected to enhance the competitiveness of Dubai’s private sector.
Zubin Karkaria, Founder and CEO of VFS Global, stated, "We are pleased to partner with Dubai Chambers to launch our 'TradeBridge Global' trade and investment services for Dubai-based organisations. This initiative highlights our long-standing commitment to supporting the development of Dubai as a pre-eminent global business hub."
Economic Growth Initiatives
The agreement aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to double the size of the emirate’s economy over the next decade. It also seeks to position Dubai among the top three global cities. The growing network of 31 international representative offices will play a crucial role in achieving these ambitions.
This partnership complements the Dubai Global Initiative, which focuses on attracting foreign direct investment and supporting local businesses in their expansion plans across 30 priority markets. The initiative aims to make it easier for companies to operate internationally by providing necessary support and resources.
Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, commented, "We are dedicated to driving economic growth by attracting companies and investors from across the globe to the emirate and supporting the international expansion of local businesses. Our cooperation with VFS Global will enhance the competitiveness of Dubai’s private sector by facilitating smoother entry into global markets."
Karkaria also mentioned that their association with the UAE began in 2002 when they launched Dubai Visa services with Emirates Airline. In 2013, they moved their global headquarters to Dubai. Last year, they appointed their first Head of Empowerment and Inclusion for the UAE to further support local talent development.
This new partnership between Dubai Chambers and VFS Global marks another step in their ongoing commitment to supporting both local businesses and the broader economic vision for Dubai and the UAE.
