Dubai Chambers And Flydubai Collaborate To Enhance Global Expansion For Local Businesses

Dubai Chambers has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with flydubai, a local airline, to help businesses in Dubai expand globally. This agreement allows companies to use flydubai's air freight services to reach international markets more effectively.

The collaboration will see flydubai offering special air freight rates to members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. This is one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers. The aim is to assist these businesses in expanding their product reach both locally and internationally, covering imports and exports.

Khalid AlJarwan, Vice President of Commercial and Corporate Services at Dubai Chambers, highlighted the benefits of this partnership. He stated that the preferential rates would help reduce costs related to exports and imports. This will improve operational efficiency and open new international market opportunities for local businesses.

Mohamed Hassan, Senior Vice President of Airport Services & Cargo at flydubai, expressed satisfaction with the partnership. He noted that it aligns with their shared goal of enhancing trade facilitation and economic diversification for Dubai-based businesses.

The agreement also includes plans for joint initiatives, programmes, and activities that add value to Dubai’s business community. These efforts aim to reinforce Dubai’s status as a global hub for trade and logistics.

Hassan further explained that by using flydubai's growing cargo network and customised airfreight solutions, local enterprises can gain the logistical strength needed to compete globally. This collaboration highlights the crucial role aviation plays in driving sustainable economic growth.
