Dubai Chamber Of Commerce Establishes Polish Business Council To Strengthen Economic Partnerships

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, a key entity under Dubai Chambers, has announced the formation of the Polish Business Council. This initiative aims to foster joint opportunities between the private sectors in Dubai and Poland, enhancing bilateral trade and investment. The move underscores Dubai's increasing appeal to Polish companies and investors.

As of the end of Q1 2024, 339 Polish companies were registered as active members of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. The inaugural annual general meeting of the Polish Business Council saw the election of its Board of Directors. Attendees discussed strategies to boost cooperation, organise business events, and explore opportunities for knowledge exchange.

New Polish Business Council in Dubai

Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, remarked, "The Polish Business Council is the latest addition to our growing number of Business Councils. This launch reinforces our efforts to activate the private sector’s role in driving economic development while nurturing fruitful partnerships between companies operating in Dubai and strengthening trade and investment ties with global business communities."

Country-specific Business Councils represent the nationalities of investors operating in Dubai. In collaboration with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, these councils focus on promoting bilateral trade and investments. They serve as effective platforms for companies to communicate, collaborate, and build impactful partnerships.

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce is actively working to increase the number of Business Councils to better represent the diverse nationalities of investors in the emirate. This initiative aims to consolidate efforts to support member companies' expansion into global markets, unify the voices of Business Councils, and contribute towards achieving their common goals.
