Dubai Chamber Of Digital Economy Showcases Opportunities In Digital Business Ecosystem At Expand North Star 2024

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is actively promoting the vibrant digital business landscape of Dubai at Expand North Star 2024. This event, known as the largest global gathering for startups and investors, is organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre and will be held at Dubai Harbour from 13-16 October. The chamber aims to highlight Dubai's competitive edge in the digital sector and its role in fostering business growth.

During this four-day event, the chamber will emphasise the infrastructure and facilities available in Dubai that support digital startups. It will also showcase services designed to help businesses expand both locally and internationally. A key feature of their participation is a pavilion dedicated to 'Launchpad Dubai,' an integrated platform offering business services through collaboration with five partners.

Dubai Chamber Highlights Digital Business at Event

The 'Launchpad Dubai' platform allows investors and entrepreneurs to connect directly with service providers who can assist in establishing and growing their businesses in Dubai. Partners involved include the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), Emirates NBD, BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associates, Antler, and Silkhaus. This initiative aims to streamline business processes for newcomers.

Additionally, the chamber will present several initiatives aimed at boosting the digital economy's contribution to Dubai's overall economy. One such initiative is 'Create Apps in Dubai,' which plans to train over 1,000 Emiratis in coding and app development by 2025. This project also seeks to triple the number of app developers in the city and support 100 new national projects focused on mobile applications.

The chamber will also promote the ‘Business in Dubai’ platform during the event. This platform offers practical assistance to companies aiming to launch or expand operations within the emirate. It provides easy access to essential services from leading providers and includes matchmaking services that connect businesses with suitable partners, investors, and customers.

As part of its mission to strengthen Dubai's status as a global leader in digital economy, the chamber plays a crucial role in unlocking potential within digital industries. This effort aligns with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which focuses on transforming Dubai into a major hub for technology and innovation worldwide.

The chamber’s involvement at Expand North Star 2024 underscores its commitment to enhancing Dubai’s business environment. By showcasing initiatives like 'Create Apps in Dubai' and platforms such as 'Business in Dubai,' it aims to attract more investment into the emirate’s thriving digital sector.
