Dubai Airports Celebrates UAE Founding Fathers With Special Zayed And Rashid Stamp For Travellers

Dubai Airports and the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) are greeting visitors with a special passport stamp. This stamp, featuring the 'Zayed and Rashid' logo, honours the UAE's Founding Fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. The initiative is part of the '#ZayedAndRashid' campaign by Brand Dubai, under His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's directives.

The campaign was launched in collaboration with 53 entities from government, semi-government, and private sectors. It celebrates the legacy of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid, whose vision laid the foundation for a nation renowned for innovation and prosperity. The initiative aligns with national festivities starting on 3 November with UAE Flag Day and ending on 2 December with Eid Al Etihad.

The #ZayedAndRashid campaign embodies unity and patriotism, offering citizens and visitors a chance to reflect on the UAE's journey to becoming a global leader. Through various events and activities, it aims to instill pride in national achievements while fostering loyalty to its leadership. The commemorative stamp will be used until 31 December due to increased traveller numbers.

Key initiatives include the Flag Garden and an iconic mural at The Gate Building in Dubai International Financial Centre. Both feature images of the Founding Fathers. These initiatives highlight a shared commitment by public and private entities to honour foundational values. They also underscore gratitude for the visionary leadership that has driven national progress.

The campaign runs until 2 December, featuring diverse events across Dubai that celebrate historic achievements and cultural diversity.
