Dubai AI Week 2025 To Host Global Experts For Conferences And Exhibitions On AI Innovations

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has announced the inaugural 'Dubai AI Week' from 21st to 25th April, 2025. This event will gather global AI experts, leaders, and decision-makers for a series of conferences and exhibitions. The initiative aligns with the Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence, aiming to explore advancements and address real-world challenges.

The event will feature a variety of activities with participation from AI specialists and executives worldwide. Key events include the ‘AI Retreat’, ‘Dubai Assembly for Generative AI’, ‘Global Prompt Engineering Championship’, ‘Machines Can See’ Summit, and the ‘Dubai AI Festival’. These will be held at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 in Emirates Towers.

Dubai AI Week 2025: A Hub for Global AI Experts

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan stated, "Under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, we are creating an integrated ecosystem that is shaping the future of AI and solidifying Dubai’s position as a global hub for AI innovation. AI is integral to future advancements, and Dubai stands as a platform where experts and innovators can come together to unlock its vast potential."

The 'AI Retreat', a highlight of the week, will bring over 1,000 global experts to discuss AI opportunities. It will feature four roundtable discussions on expanding AI applications across sectors. The retreat builds on the success of its first edition hosted by DFF in June 2024.

The 'Dubai Assembly for Generative AI' at AREA 2071 will host 1,800 participants including ministers, CEOs, and experts. It will feature 25 sessions and 12 immersive experiences led by major tech companies. This assembly provides a platform for exploring emerging AI technologies through discussions and live demonstrations.

The 'Global Prompt Engineering Championship' received 2,000 applications with 40 finalists selected to present solutions evaluated by a panel of experts. Held at both Museum of the Future and AREA 2071, this competition focuses on optimising AI solutions with a prize pool of AED1 million across four categories.

Educational Initiatives

A comprehensive programme in collaboration with KHDA will be launched in Dubai’s schools during the week. This initiative aims to educate students about Artificial Intelligence concepts and inspire them to shape future industries actively.

The 'Machines Can See' Summit will debut during Dubai AI Week with exhibitions attracting 5,000 visitors. Organised by Polynome Events alongside UAE's Artificial Intelligence office and DFF, it brings together industry leaders to showcase machine vision technology advancements.

Business Opportunities

The 'Dubai AI Festival' at Madinat Jumeirah expects 5,000 business leaders from around the world. Organised by Dubai AI Campus with DIFC partnership, it serves as a platform for exchanging ideas and forming partnerships while showcasing groundbreaking projects.
