Dubai Active Industry And Muscle Show 2023 Welcomes H.H. Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed At Expo City Dubai

H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, recently visited the eighth edition of the ‘Dubai Active, Dubai Active Industry, and Dubai Muscle Show’ at Expo City Dubai. This event, held in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council at the Dubai Exhibition Centre, is a prominent fitness and bodybuilding exhibition in the Middle East. It runs until 27th October.

The current edition is anticipated to be the largest since its inception seven years ago. An estimated 38,000 enthusiasts of bodybuilding and strength training are expected to attend. They will enjoy various competitions, fitness challenges, and talks from industry icons like Mr Olympia champions.

This year’s event features 400 exhibitors from 40 countries showcasing top international brands in sports equipment, nutritional supplements, and fitness gear. Approximately 3,000 industry specialists are participating. Organisers expect over 38,000 visitors during the three-day event.

During his visit, Sheikh Mansoor explored products displayed by various exhibitors. He was accompanied by Khalfan Belhoul, Saeed Hareb, Francesco Santa from IEG Middle East, and Rachel Chatham. Sheikh Mansoor interacted with representatives from major international companies who showcased their latest offerings in training equipment and nutrition.

The exhibition includes significant events like the Dubai Muscle Classic and FMG International Ladies Competition. Visitors can engage with renowned figures such as Hadi Choopan and Ronnie Coleman. These legends will share insights into elite training methods during Dubai Muscle Talks sessions.

The Amateur Bodybuilding Championship is another highlight on the sidelines of the exhibition. The event promises to attract attention with its high-level performances and dedication displayed by athletes on stage.

Inspiring Future Generations

This year also marks the return of a schools initiative aimed at inspiring young fitness enthusiasts. In collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority and Gems Education Foundation, free tickets are offered to UAE students to encourage an active lifestyle.

The Dubai Muscle Classic offers more than AED70,000 in prize money along with 13 IFBB Pro Cards for winners. Partnering with IFBB Pro Elite and Emirates Bodybuilding Federation ensures a high level of competition as athletes showcase their sculpted physiques.

Inclusive Fitness Challenges

Fitness fans can anticipate thrilling experiences in the ‘HYROX 365 Challenge’, powered by GymNation. This challenge tests endurance levels of participants while promoting inclusivity through a People of Determination competition involving over 50 children.

Combat sports enthusiasts can enjoy live Jiu-Jitsu showdowns at the Forge Grappling Challenge presented by Roger Gracie Academy Dubai. Team Nogueira Dubai hosts the Future Champions Tournament featuring young talents in Boxing, MMA, and Muay Thai alongside live demonstrations.
