Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil Contributes AED 5 Million To Support UAE's Fathers' Endowment Campaign

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings, has contributed AED5 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The campaign aims to honour fathers in the UAE by creating a sustainable fund for healthcare support for those in need.

The campaign is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) and encourages donations in honour of fathers. It promotes values such as compassion and solidarity while enhancing the UAE's reputation in charitable work. Dr. Shamsheer’s contribution is a response to this community-wide initiative.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign seeks to reinforce generosity and human solidarity, traits that are synonymous with the UAE. By establishing a community movement, it aims to support its objectives effectively. The campaign also highlights the importance of charitable endowments in promoting these values.

Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil expressed that the campaign reflects the UAE's dedication to aiding less fortunate communities by providing essential resources and tools. He emphasised that this initiative inspires increased giving through its noble goals, particularly in establishing an endowment fund for sustainable healthcare for the needy.

The campaign continues to welcome contributions from both individuals and institutions through six main channels. Donations can be made via its website (Fathersfund.ae) or through a dedicated call centre at 800 4999 toll-free number.

Multiple Donation Channels Available

Donors can also transfer funds directly in UAE dirham to Emirates Islamic Bank using IBAN: AE020340003518492868201. SMS donations are available by sending "Father" to specific numbers for different amounts: 1034 for AED 10, 1035 for AED 50, 1036 for AED 100, and 1038 for AED 500 through Etisalat by e& or du users.

Additional platforms include the DubaiNow app under "Donations" and Dubai’s Jood platform (Jood.ae). These varied options ensure ease of participation from all willing contributors.

This initiative not only honours fathers but also strengthens community bonds by encouraging widespread participation in charitable activities across various channels.
