During the holy month of Ramadan this year, DP World Foundation has significantly contributed to charitable projects, with expenditures surpassing AED19 million across 10 countries. This announcement was made at the Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development (DIHAD) Exhibition, an event held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The foundation's efforts have been warmly acknowledged by recipients in the UAE and nine other countries across Africa and Asia.

In the UAE, the foundation's collaboration with Al Ihsan Charity Association and the Dubai Charity Association led to the successful distribution of 500,000 Iftar boxes through the Ramadan Amaan 10 campaign, involving 18,000 volunteers. Additionally, in 2023, DP World Foundation contributed AED10 million to the "1 Billion Meals Endowment" campaign initiated by Sheikh Mohammed to create a sustainable food aid fund for Ramadan.

The DIHAD 2024 conference brought together influential figures from various sectors to discuss support for regions affected by crises. Al Neyadi expressed pride in the foundation's achievements since its establishment in April 2022, emphasizing its commitment to health, education, and food-related causes. This aligns with the UAE's Fifty-Year Charter aimed at fostering sustainable humanitarian growth.

Latifa AlQemzi, Director General of DP World Foundation, shared insights into future expansion plans. Motivated by the success of past campaigns, AlQemzi announced plans for a series of international and local initiatives for 2025 designed to embody the spirit of Ramadan and promote community well-being. Speaking at DIHAD 2024’s session on Humanitarian Diplomacy and Climate Change, AlQemzi introduced DP World Foundation’s mission and its impactful work.

DP World Foundation remains dedicated to upholding social responsibility and extending support across various social issues including poverty, hunger, and education. Through partnerships both locally and internationally, it aims to make a significant difference in the lives of those in need without discrimination based on nationality, race, or religion.
