With a background that spans various global cuisines and experiences in Michelin-starred restaurants, Rowe brings a wealth of expertise to oversee the property's 13 bars and restaurants. His appointment is anticipated to elevate the dining experience for guests, aligning with the resort's commitment to exceeding expectations in every aspect of hospitality.

Kevin Rowe Joins DoubleTree as Director of Food

In his new role, Rowe is committed to bringing his dynamic vision and culinary creativity to the forefront, aiming to enhance the gastronomic landscape at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island.

Rowe's journey in the food and beverage industry began in South Africa, where he pursued Business Management at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University. His passion for hospitality was sparked by an early exposure to the art of hosting and the farm-to-table ethos, which underscored the importance of quality ingredients.

This foundation led him to the GCC, where he honed his skills and leadership in the food and beverage sector, managing divisions across high-profile properties and exploring a range of cuisines from Japanese to Mexican.

Before joining DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, Rowe made significant contributions as the Director of Food & Drinks at Hilton Bahrain. There, his innovative approaches to dining and service saw the introduction of data-driven strategies that not only improved guest satisfaction but also drove revenue growth.

His efforts were recognized with several FACT Awards, highlighting his ability to create memorable dining experiences, such as the popular brunch at Origin Kitchen & Culture and a reimagined Ramadan offering.
