DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 Opens In Dubai, Showcasing Global Flooring Innovations

The DOMOTEX Middle East 2025 exhibition commenced at the Dubai World Trade Centre, solidifying its status as a key trade platform for the flooring industry in the region. The event spans three days and features 100 international exhibitors, underscoring Dubai's expanding role as a global centre for design, innovation, and commerce.

Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director-General of Dubai Land Department, inaugurated the exhibition. He toured the venue and interacted with industry participants. He remarked on Dubai's ability to attract international exhibitions that bolster economic growth and foster global engagement. "Events like DOMOTEX Middle East empower industries and reinforce Dubai’s position as a hub for innovation and cross-border collaboration," he said.

Sonia Wedell-Castellano, Global Director of DOMOTEX at Deutsche Messe AG, highlighted the significance of this year's event. "This year’s strong global participation reflects the Middle East’s growing influence in shaping the future of the flooring industry. Dubai’s strategic location makes it an ideal platform for international collaboration," she stated.

The exhibition is now in its second year since relaunching in the region. It connects key players from various sectors including real estate, hospitality, architecture, and retail. This gathering provides a unique opportunity for networking and exploring new partnerships within these industries.

Exhibitors such as Heritage Carpets, Abu Dhabi National Carpet Factory, Standard Carpet, Tuftco, Nirmal International, among others are presenting products that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design and technology. Amir Ghanbarinia from Heritage Carpets noted the importance of sustainability in their offerings. "DOMOTEX Middle East offers a unique opportunity to connect with buyers who appreciate both heritage and sustainability," he mentioned.

The event also serves as a hub for industry insights, attracting architects, interior designers, contractors, and government stakeholders interested in innovations within the flooring sector. Participants are keen on exploring new collaborations that could drive future developments.
