Dubai's dnata Secures Ground Handling Contract With EasyJet At Zurich Airport
dnata, a prominent global air and travel services provider, has secured a multi-year ground handling contract with easyJet at Zurich Airport (ZRH) in Switzerland. This agreement will see dnata offering comprehensive passenger, ramp, and baggage services to the low-cost airline.
The collaboration will enhance the travel experience for approximately 640,000 passengers on easyJet's 3,800 annual flights. dnata's dedicated team will ensure safe and reliable services throughout this partnership.
This new contract builds on the existing relationship between dnata and easyJet in Switzerland. Since 2022, dnata has been providing all de-icing services for easyJet in Zurich. The expanded partnership signifies a deepening trust between the two companies.

Currently, dnata operates at both Zurich Airport (ZRH) and Geneva Airport (GVA). The company provides a variety of ground handling and cargo services to over 30 airlines with a workforce of 1,100 customer-focused employees.
In the financial year 2023-24, dnata's team assisted eight million passengers and moved more than 90,000 tonnes of cargo across Geneva and Zurich airports. These figures highlight dnata's significant role in Swiss aviation.
In the financial year 2023-24 alone, dnata handled over 778,000 aircraft turns and moved more than 2.9 million tonnes of cargo. Additionally, they uplifted 123 million meals and recorded a total transaction value (TTV) of US$ 2.4 billion in travel services.
