Dnata Reaches Milestone By Handling Over 1 Million Tonnes Of Cargo In Dubai

dnata has achieved a remarkable milestone by handling over 1 million tonnes of cargo in Dubai from April 2024 to March 2025. This is the highest volume processed by the company within a year. The record marks a 30% increase compared to the previous year, driven by strong demand for dnata's reliable services.

Operating from state-of-the-art facilities at Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum - Dubai World Central (DWC) airports, dnata serves over 120 airline customers. The company efficiently manages various types of cargo, including perishables, pharmaceuticals, dangerous goods, live animals, aircraft engines, and vehicles.

Guillaume Crozier, dnata’s Chief Cargo Officer, expressed pride in reaching this milestone in Dubai. He stated, "We are incredibly proud to reach this milestone in Dubai, the birthplace of dnata and our largest cargo station. This achievement reflects the strength of our operations and the vital role dnata plays in enabling the smooth and efficient flow of goods through the emirate."

The success of dnata is attributed to its dedicated workforce and excellent collaboration with industry partners and authorities like Dubai Airports, Dubai Customs, and Dubai Police. Global Operations and Growth

Globally, dnata provides quality ground handling and cargo services at more than 90 airports across 16 countries. In the financial year 2023-24, dnata's teams managed 2.9 million tonnes of cargo worldwide. This represents a 5% increase compared to the previous year.

This achievement highlights dnata's pivotal role in facilitating efficient cargo movement through Dubai while supporting global trade networks.
