DMCC Strengthens UAE-China Business Ties With New Partnerships In Beijing

DMCC has formed two significant partnerships with the Beijing Innovation Service Hub for Digital Economy Enterprise Going Global and the Beijing Chaoyang Council for the Promotion of International Trade. These agreements were signed during DMCC's inaugural Made For Trade Live roadshow of 2025, held in Beijing and Shenzhen. The event also revealed a 17.5% increase in Chinese companies within DMCC, nearing a total of 1,000.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC, stated, "With nearly 1,000 Chinese companies now calling DMCC home, our district has cemented its position as the natural gateway for Chinese businesses in Dubai. Year after year, our growing Chinese community underscores the enduring appeal of our district – one built on tailored services, world-class office space, and dedicated ecosystems for physical commodities and next-gen technologies such as AI and Web3.

"With two new landmark partnerships with the Beijing Innovation Service Hub and Beijing Chaoyang, we have taken another major step to deepen our commercial ties on the ground, generate new momentum and business opportunities, and ensure DMCC remains the partner of choice for Chinese companies in the region."

DMCC Enhances UAE-China Business Connections

The agreements involve collaboration on trade promotion, investment facilitation, and strategic business matchmaking. This will connect companies with key stakeholders from both government and private sectors in Dubai and Beijing. The partnerships aim to co-host business seminars, investment roadshows, and networking events to boost cross-border cooperation.

These collaborations will promote digital trade and blockchain technology to facilitate seamless transactions across borders. Companies from both regions will benefit from new investment leads, expanded market opportunities, and streamlined business setup solutions within DMCC as well as in Beijing Innovation Hub and Beijing Chaoyang.

In partnership with Yingtian Global, DMCC's roadshows in Beijing and Shenzhen brought together senior business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors. These events aimed to explore expansion opportunities into Dubai and beyond. They showcased DMCC's diverse value proposition for Chinese companies seeking international growth.

The Made For Trade Live event series is vital in promoting Dubai as a premier global business hub. It supports DMCC’s ongoing expansion by attracting record numbers of new businesses to Dubai. This contributes to 15% of all foreign direct investment while reinforcing its role as a key economic driver.

Currently hosting over 950 Chinese firms, DMCC represents more than 15% of the estimated 6,000 Chinese businesses operating in the UAE. This highlights its ability to provide an ideal environment for these companies to expand their international reach.

The strategic partnerships with Beijing entities mark a significant step towards strengthening commercial ties between Dubai and China. By fostering collaboration through various initiatives like roadshows and seminars, these alliances aim to create new business opportunities while ensuring secure cross-border transactions.
