DMCC Partners With Bybit For A $100K Web3 Hackathon To Drive Innovation

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and Bybit, a global crypto exchange, have announced their second collaborative hackathon. This event offers US$100,000 for the most innovative Web3 businesses. Following the success of their first hackathon in November 2023, this edition will focus on advancements in Web3, including artificial intelligence (AI), gaming, and information security.

Applications are now open for the hackathon scheduled for 20th November 2024 at DMCC’s Uptown Tower headquarters. Up to 10 teams will compete to develop technical solutions addressing challenges in key areas like tokenisation, AI, Web3 infrastructure, zero-knowledge protocols, digital identity, and DePIN (decentralised physical infrastructure networks). These fields were chosen for their potential to enhance commercial and trade-related applications.
