Digital Dubai And Oracle Sign MoU To Advance Digital Skills And Innovation Initiatives

Digital Dubai and Oracle have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the 45th GITEX Global event in Dubai. This partnership aims to enhance digital skills across various sectors, supporting Dubai's transition into a digital future. The agreement focuses on developing digital capabilities and equipping government employees with skills for the future.

The MoU emphasises collaboration in training and skills development. Both organisations will design and implement training programmes for Digital Dubai staff to improve work methods. These initiatives aim to foster a culture of innovation by enhancing digital knowledge among government employees and residents of Dubai.

Digital Dubai and Oracle Collaborate on Skills

Additionally, the partnership includes cooperation on smart community initiatives. This involves studying and launching training programs for both government employees and residents to boost their digital literacy. The goal is to cultivate an innovative mindset throughout society.

Digital Dubai and Oracle will also collaborate in artificial intelligence (AI) and digital innovation fields. They plan to develop joint use cases that enhance business operations and user experiences. This collaboration aims to create practical applications that benefit both businesses and individuals.

Tariq Al Janahi, CEO of the Corporate Empowerment Sector at Digital Dubai, commented on the agreement: "This MoU with Oracle stems from both parties’ belief that people are the true capital, and that investing in digital knowledge is the smartest investment in the future of cities."
