Dibba Al Hisn Investment Forum Organised By SEDD To Highlight Economic Opportunities For Entrepreneurs
The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) recently hosted the "Dibba Al Hisn Investment Forum." This event gathered entrepreneurs and project owners to explore investment opportunities in Dibba Al Hisn. The forum's goal was to showcase the city's potential for investment, attract businesses, and enhance commercial activities to boost the region's economic growth.
SEDD emphasised Dibba Al Hisn's appealing investment climate, highlighting its diverse economy and strategic advantages for companies and investors. This initiative aligns with SEDD's strategy to promote Sharjah's various regions, particularly the Eastern Region. The forum also featured success stories from entrepreneurs who have established projects in Dibba Al Hisn.

Khalfan Al Herathi, Director of SEDD Branches Department, stated that the department follows the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. The focus is on improving various sectors in the emirate, especially economic ones related to entrepreneurship. These forums aim to foster communication with entrepreneurs and inform them about investment benefits in Dibba Al Hisn.
Al Herathi further explained that these meetings help introduce entrepreneurs to relevant laws and regulations, ensuring they adopt best government practices. He noted that such forums provide a platform for direct interaction between SEDD and business owners, allowing them to discuss challenges and share ideas for advancing Dibba Al Hisn's economic sectors.
Ahmed Said bin Saed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Director of Commercial Affairs Department at SEDD, highlighted that supporting entrepreneurial projects is a priority for SEDD. The department plans to launch initiatives and programmes in collaboration with relevant institutions to encourage young citizens to participate in projects that contribute positively to the country's economic development.
These initiatives aim not only to benefit the economy but also society and individuals by motivating young people to engage in ventures that add value across multiple dimensions. SEDD remains committed to understanding both public and private sector aspirations while driving economic progress throughout Sharjah's cities.
