DHA Unveils Advanced Hasana System For Effective Infectious Disease Monitoring And Vaccine Management

The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has introduced the Hasana system at the Healthcare Future Summit 2024. This advanced platform uses cutting-edge technologies to manage vaccine records, monitor public health standards, and control infectious diseases in Dubai. By connecting with healthcare facilities citywide, Hasana simplifies the immunisation process and ensures vaccines are delivered efficiently.

Dr. Ramadan Ibrahim Al Blooshi, Adviser to the Director-General and Director of the Public Health Protection Department at DHA, highlighted the importance of this system. He stated that it demonstrates DHA's commitment to leading global health advancements by using smart technologies for disease monitoring and assessment. "This proactive approach enables Dubai to adopt the most effective measures in managing and containing such threats," he said.

Hasana is designed for DHA staff, private healthcare providers, schools, and the general public. It offers advanced features for automatic tracking and management of vaccine stocks and doses. This reduces human error and ensures precise vaccine delivery across Dubai. The system maintains individual health records with instant updates throughout the healthcare network.

Dr. Al Blooshi explained that Hasana supports essential vaccination oversight, manages immunisation campaigns, and tracks immunisation records along with potential side effects.
