DEWA Named Sustainability Strategic Partner Of Arab Media Forum
The Dubai Press Club (DPC), organiser of the Arab Media Forum (AMF), has announced that the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will be the Sustainability Strategic Partner for the 22nd edition of the event. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Forum will take place from 27th to 29th May at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
This year’s forum will gather thought leaders, media personalities, editors-in-chief, influencers, scholars, writers, experts, and content creators from the UAE, the region, and across the globe. The discussions will focus on the future of the region’s evolving media landscape and key media issues and advancements worldwide.

DEWA's support underscores its commitment to social responsibility and recognises the crucial role media plays in addressing sustainability. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, stated that this partnership aligns with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision to enhance media’s role in achieving sustainable development across the region.
Al Tayer emphasised DEWA’s belief in media as a vital partner in raising awareness on topics contributing to sustainable development. He highlighted that media plays a significant role in promoting green economy initiatives, accelerating energy transition, addressing climate change, and implementing renewable and clean energy projects.
Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, expressed appreciation for DEWA’s support. She noted that DEWA's contributions have significantly strengthened Dubai and the UAE's position as leaders in sustainable development.

The 22nd edition of AMF will feature discussions analysing economic, social, technological, and cultural developments driving media transformation. The forum aims to enhance regional cooperation and exchange experiences to address global media sector challenges.
Day 1 on 27th May will include the second Youth Media Forum dedicated to empowering young media professionals and influencers in the region. Day 2 will feature the prestigious 23rd Arab Media Award, honouring outstanding achievements in regional media.
The event will conclude with the Arab Social Media Influencers Award ceremony on Day 3. This ceremony will recognise contributions from digital influencers across nine categories.
Al Tayer highlighted DEWA’s initiatives in promoting green economy efforts and advancing sustainable development. He noted that DEWA is committed to providing solutions, experiences, and best practices in innovation and Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.
