DEWA Launches Updated Technical Manual For Infrastructure Projects

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has recently unveiled the second edition of its Infrastructure No-Objection Certificate (NOC) Technical Manual. This initiative is aimed at supporting contractors, consultants, and developers accredited by DEWA, reinforcing the Emirate's business environment. The updated manual is designed to streamline the process for acquiring electricity and water services, aligning with the highest international standards of reliability, quality, and efficiency.

The latest edition of the manual introduces 17 new project types, expanding the total to 67. It also updates the specific standards for water assets and revises the technical specifications and protection details for new electricity assets. This enhancement comes as a response to the growing infrastructure projects in Dubai and the surging demand for electricity and water services.
