DEWA Showcases Innovative AI Applications For Energy And Water Efficiency At Dubai AI Week

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) actively engaged in 'Dubai AI Week' as a strategic partner. DEWA's experts participated in numerous discussions and workshops, showcasing how artificial intelligence (AI) enhances efficiency in key sectors like energy and water. The sessions highlighted DEWA's achievements in integrating AI technologies to optimise operations.

DEWA has successfully implemented various AI applications, including smart grid solutions and customer service enhancements. Notable initiatives include Rammas, a virtual employee powered by AI and ChatGPT, which supports services across power generation, transmission, distribution, and customer services. These innovations aim to improve operational efficiency significantly.

Moro Hub, part of Digital DEWA, led a session on strategies for integrating AI technologies effectively. This session focused on ensuring smooth adoption and management of AI tools to maximise their benefits. DEWA is the first government entity in the UAE to adopt advanced Microsoft technologies like Microsoft 365 Copilot and Microsoft Security Copilot.

DEWA's adoption of generative AI technologies includes the Microsoft Power Platform and smart assistants. These tools enhance productivity and security within the organisation. Over 100 students from DEWA Academy took part in sessions designed to provide essential knowledge about AI tools.
