DCT Abu Dhabi And Amadeus Expand Partnership To Drive Tourism Growth Through Innovative Campaigns

The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced the continuation and expansion of its partnership with Amadeus, a prominent travel technology provider. This collaboration, revealed at the World Travel Market in London, aims to significantly increase visitor numbers to Abu Dhabi by over 60 percent compared to last year through Amadeus’ platforms.

By utilising advanced AI-driven programmatic campaigns, this initiative will target travellers actively searching for their next destination. The focus is on attracting new consumers who might not have previously considered Abu Dhabi as a travel option, thereby enhancing the emirate’s global appeal.

DCT Abu Dhabi Partners with Amadeus for Tourism Growth

The collaboration is expected to benefit key industry stakeholders in Abu Dhabi, such as hoteliers and travel agents, by increasing exposure and driving booking conversions. Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, Director-General for Tourism at DCT Abu Dhabi, highlighted the importance of this partnership in achieving the ambitious goals outlined in their Tourism Strategy 2030.

"Our long-standing partnership with Amadeus has been instrumental in showcasing Abu Dhabi’s diverse offering to a global audience. This expanded collaboration is pivotal to our journey to achieve the ambitious goals set out in our Tourism Strategy 2030," said Al Geziry.

The renewed partnership will strategically target diverse consumer segments. It aims to highlight Abu Dhabi’s rich cultural heritage, thrilling adventures, family-friendly attractions, and stunning coastal landscapes worldwide. This approach ensures that the emirate's offerings are prominently featured on a global scale.
