DATE MENA 2025: Influential Tech Leaders Gather To Drive Digital Transformation In MENA

AI and Blockchain Innovation
Dr Marwan AlZarouni, CEO of AI at Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, delivered a keynote on Dubai's Dual Engine. He discussed how AI and blockchain are accelerating innovation and strengthening the digital economy.
Discussions also covered virtual assets, tokenisation, and liquidity frameworks, showcasing the UAE's influence in Web3. Cybersecurity panels explored architectures and Zero Trust frameworks, equipping enterprises to secure infrastructures against threats.
The summit featured sessions on leveraging AI and blockchain for innovation, with panels and roundtables offering insights and fostering partnerships. DATE's Innovation Programme highlighted student-led solutions poised for business and societal impact.

Attendees at DATE Launchpad shared insights, released whitepapers, and announced breakthroughs shaping technology's future. Student innovations were spotlighted, showcasing the next generation of solutions for tangible business and societal impact.
