Daman Extends Branch Working Hours To Facilitate Customer Compliance During Grace Period
The National Health Insurance Company - Daman has announced longer working hours at its branches during the grace period for violators. This initiative aims to streamline the application process, making it more efficient and user-friendly. The decision comes in response to a surge in customers visiting Daman branches to update their status.
Starting Monday, 9th December, the main branch in Abu Dhabi, along with Musaffah and Al Ain branches, will operate from 08:00 to 20:00 on weekdays. On weekends, these branches will be open from 08:00 to 17:00. This extension offers customers more flexibility in visiting times.

By extending operating hours, Daman aims to reduce waiting times and improve customer satisfaction. This change allows the team to better support customers and manage increased demand effectively. The company is committed to providing necessary assistance efficiently during this busy period.
Daman encourages Basic Plan members to utilise its digital platforms for renewal and enrolment services. These online services are accessible through the Daman and Thiqa mobile apps and the company's website. This approach helps customers avoid long queues at physical branches.
Individual members can renew or enrol in the Basic Plan using the Daman and Thiqa mobile applications or the website. Small group members should visit the website for renewal services or to enrol new members in the Basic Plan. This digital option simplifies processes for both individuals and small groups.
This strategic move by Daman not only enhances customer experience but also optimises branch operations during peak periods. By leveraging digital solutions, Daman ensures a seamless service delivery while accommodating a larger number of clients efficiently.
