Community Activities At Hatta Winter Festival Promote Creative Exploration And Adventure Experiences

Brand Dubai, the creative division of the Government of Dubai Media Office, is hosting a series of community-focused events as part of the Hatta Winter Festival. These events aim to encourage artistic collaboration and appreciation for Hatta's natural beauty. Fitness and adventure enthusiasts can also enjoy activities set against Hatta’s stunning landscapes. The festival is a significant part of the Hatta Winter initiative, launched under the guidance of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The festival, running from 13 December 2024 to 22 January 2025, invites residents and visitors to explore unique experiences in this mountainous region during cooler months. Organised by Brand Dubai under the Supreme Committee's supervision, it caters to creatives, athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and adventure lovers with various activities set against Hatta's picturesque backdrop.

Set against the stunning landscapes of Hatta, the Festival promotes creativity and provides visitors with opportunities to enjoy outdoor sports, particularly during this time of year."

Key community events include the Creatives Walk on 29 December 2024 and the Photographers Walk on 4 January 2025. These events aim to engage creative communities and highlight Hatta's stunning landscapes. The Creatives Walk is organised with The Creatives Shop and gathers professionals like videographers and writers for an artistic tour of Hatta.

Participants document their journey through various mediums and share their work on social media using dedicated hashtags. This initiative connects both creatives and the public to Hatta's natural beauty. Similarly, the Photographers Walk invites photography enthusiasts to capture Hatta’s breathtaking landscapes with guidance from seasoned photographers.

The festival also offers fitness activities like open-air spin bike sessions on 4 and 11 January 2025 at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. These sessions are organised with ‘Padel and Fitness Hub 700,’ known for its modern facilities. Adventure seekers can join high-intensity ‘Sport Hit’ workouts on 21 and 28 December 2024 at 4:00 PM, followed by yoga classes at 5:00 PM near the iconic Zayed and Rashid mural.

Participants can register for these fitness activities through the ‘Padel and Fitness Hub’ app. Additionally, horse riding experiences are offered in collaboration with Yaazar Café. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views while connecting with horses in a specially designed space inspired by stables.

Additional Festivals and Accessibility

The nearly 40-day-long initiative includes four other festivals offering diverse events in collaboration with government and private partners. These include Hatta Cultural Nights by Dubai Culture; the Hatta Honey Festival; the Hatta Agricultural Festival by Dubai Municipality; and Hatta x DSF by DET. Each festival features community, cultural, and entertainment activities for all ages.

To enhance accessibility, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) operates the Hatta Express bus service with 14 daily trips from Dubai to Hatta. This year’s edition also includes over 1,100 parking spaces for visitors along with internal shuttle buses transporting guests from parking areas to event venues.

The festival reflects Brand Dubai's commitment to fostering creative communities while showcasing diverse destination experiences in the emirate.
