Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Celebrates Over 600 Caregivers For Their Dedication Over A Decade
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi recently celebrated its 10th anniversary by honouring over 600 founding caregivers who have dedicated more than a decade to the institution. This event highlighted their commitment, which has been vital in realising the hospital's vision of being a premier healthcare provider and workplace. Since its inception in 2015, the hospital has expanded into a vibrant community with over 5,700 caregivers from more than 80 countries.
The hospital's workforce includes over 590 physicians, 1,700 nurses, and 590 allied health professionals. Over the past ten years, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has managed more than 6.8 million patient interactions and performed upwards of 174,000 complex surgeries. This achievement has redefined healthcare standards in the UAE and beyond by offering world-class expertise and compassionate care locally.

Dr. Georges-Pascal Haber, CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, stated: "Our caregivers have been central to our tripartite mission of providing compassionate, complex care, research for health, and educating those who serve. Together, they have helped build a hospital trusted by thousands of patients in Abu Dhabi, and beyond." He emphasised that their dedication has driven innovation and shaped current healthcare delivery.
The availability of specialised care at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi has significantly reduced the need for patients to seek medical treatment abroad. This shift has elevated local healthcare standards and established Abu Dhabi as a global healthcare hub. The facility has welcomed over 10,000 international patients during this period.
Mariam Al Mujaini, Manager of Patient Experience at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and one of the honoured caregivers, shared her journey: "In 2014, I embarked on my journey at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi... As an Emirati woman... I am proud to have contributed to creating a compassionate... environment that not only enhances lives but also gives back to my country..."
