Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Secures Second Magnet Designation For Outstanding Nursing Excellence
Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, a member of the M42 group, has once again earned the prestigious Magnet® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). This recognition is considered the global standard for nursing excellence. It underscores the hospital's dedication to providing exceptional patient care, innovative practices, and high professional nursing standards.
The hospital first received this honour in 2019, making it both the first and youngest hospital in the UAE to achieve this status. The renewed designation highlights the outstanding quality of its nursing team, showcasing excellence in all aspects of patient care. Impressively, 97 percent of nurses hold advanced certifications, while 90 percent have engaged in leadership development programmes.

Furthermore, 85 percent of nurses have contributed to groundbreaking research that influences future patient care practices. All nurses have completed advanced patient safety training, with 99 percent holding a bachelor's degree or higher. The hospital maintains a registered nurse turnover rate below 5 percent, which is notably low.
Patient satisfaction scores reaching 100 percent further demonstrate Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's commitment to delivering compassionate and world-class patient care. Dr. GeorgPascal Haber, CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, stated that their caregivers are central to their success. He emphasised the critical role of nursing in prioritising quality and patient experience.
