Dubai Municipality And Courts Collaborate To Launch Home Construction Dispute Resolution Centre For Citizens
The Citizens’ Home Construction Dispute Resolution Center is being established at Al Manara Center through a collaboration between Dubai Municipality and Dubai Courts. This initiative aims to enhance the legal framework for housing projects, providing integrated services that improve citizens' quality of life by addressing their needs efficiently.
The centre will address disputes between citizens and contractors over home construction contracts. This creates a supportive legal environment that promotes family stability, ensures project sustainability, and protects stakeholder rights. The initiative demonstrates both entities' commitment to delivering comprehensive services that increase public trust in government systems.

Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director-General of Dubai Courts, stated, "The Citizens’ Home Construction Dispute Resolution Center represents a qualitative leap in developing legal services related to housing projects. It reflects Dubai Courts’ commitment to enhancing judicial efficiency and providing innovative solutions that deliver justice in a flexible and swift manner, in line with our vision of achieving leadership and judicial excellence in a global city."
He further explained that the centre will provide an integrated environment for dispute resolution. This approach reduces litigation time, eases court burdens, and speeds up fair solutions safeguarding all parties' interests. The initiative exemplifies inter-agency cooperation in community service while reinforcing high-quality judicial services.
Dubai Municipality will offer technical and logistical support to ensure smooth operations at the centre. This includes engineering expertise to assist judicial services and reduce litigation timelines. Meanwhile, Dubai Courts will manage the centre according to top judicial standards, ensuring efficient dispute resolution with innovative solutions enhancing citizen satisfaction.
Al Manara Center was chosen as the hub due to its central location, making court services accessible to many citizens. The centre will host services from local and federal government entities under one roof, offering a unique experience for users.
