China-Arab Entrepreneurs Summit 2024 Unites Business Leaders In Abu Dhabi
The 2024 China-Arab Entrepreneurs Summit commenced today in Abu Dhabi, uniting over 200 delegates from the business sectors of China and Arab countries. Jointly organised by the Sino International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF) and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the summit aims to bolster practical cooperation between China and Arab nations.
The summit's agenda includes green innovation, energy security, technological advancements, financial investment, and digital transformation in education. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Zhang Yiming, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the UAE, and Long Yongtu, Co-Chairman of SIEF, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

Dr. Al Zeyoudi emphasised the shared vision between the UAE and China to support entrepreneurship as a crucial driver of sustainable economic growth. He highlighted the UAE's commitment to fostering an environment where entrepreneurs can thrive. The speakers also underscored the robust China-Arab relations and the significant trade volume between the two regions.
The summit features panel discussions, presentations on various cooperation projects, and the signing of strategic cooperation agreements between Emirati and Chinese companies. One notable event was the launch of the "China-Arab Financing and Investment Report 2023," which highlights investment opportunities in the region.
The summit will span five days with participation from a select group of businessmen and officials from both sides. Following the Abu Dhabi events, a series of related activities will take place in Dubai and Riyadh.
