CARE Forum In Dubai To Drive Green Innovation And Investment Across MENA Region
The CARE (Climate Action, Renewable Energy & Sustainability) forum series by Trescon is poised to become a key platform in the MENA region for sustainability investment and climate innovation.
Scheduled for November 26 & 27 at Madinat Jumeirah, it will bring together leaders focused on the Middle East's transition to clean energy. This event coincides with DATE, a summit on Digitization, AI & Emerging Tech.

Naveen Bharadwaj, Group CEO of Trescon, highlighted the forum's significance: "With the GCC committing billions to renewable infrastructure, CARE MENA offers a unique, action-oriented platform where capital meets climate ambition." He added that the series will highlight opportunities in solar, hydrogen, green finance, and industrial decarbonisation to support net-zero goals.
For start-ups and climate tech ventures, CARE MENA serves as a launchpad to secure investments. Kevin Holliday, CEO of Venturebeam, expressed enthusiasm: "I'm looking forward to CARE as a platform to uncover investment opportunities in climate tech and renewables." Ahmed Refaie from G.P.I. Global Partners Investments Limited noted its role in deploying capital responsibly.
CARE MENA is backed by prominent investors like Royal Group and Sharjah Investment & Development Authority (Shurooq). Sofia Kostiunina from 100VP sees it as an excellent platform for identifying breakthrough opportunities in renewable energy and climate tech. The event promises high-impact collaborations with venture capital firms and institutional investors.
Flagship initiatives include the ClimateTech World Cup, which connects founders with investors through a global start-up competition. The CARE Launchpad showcases disruptive applications and research to ignite funding and collaboration. Additionally, the CARE Innovation Programme features student-led sustainable innovations tackling real-world challenges.
The CARE ESG Awards will celebrate achievements such as "Responsible Investor of the Year" and "Young Sustainability Pioneer of the Year." Summit sessions will delve into regulatory reform and technology deployment with an emphasis on commercial viability. Sponsors like Emtribe and S&P Global ensure that discussions lead to actionable commitments.
Participants can expect investor roundtables, pitch sessions, and partnership forums at CARE MENA. For founders, it's an opportunity to present ideas to decision-makers; for corporates, it offers insights into upcoming green innovations; for investors, it provides access to promising ventures in the region.
The forum aims to foster meaningful connections between various stakeholders committed to advancing sustainability efforts across the Middle East.
