Calidus Holding Group and Safran Electronics & Defence have formed a partnership to address the rising demand for advanced aerial delivery services in the UAE. This collaboration aims to develop cutting-edge aerial delivery capabilities by merging Calidus' industrial strengths with Safran's expertise in parachute systems. The agreement also focuses on personal parachutes, with Safran utilising its extensive experience in creating round parachutes for tactical mass airdrops. This ensures high standards of operational excellence and safety. Dr. Khalifa Murad Alblooshi, CEO of Calidus, highlighted this as a significant step in their strategic partnership with Safran to boost national defence industries.
