Calidus Showcases Advanced Defence Technologies And Innovations At IDEF 2025 In Türkiye

Calidus Holding Group, a defence company from the UAE, is participating in the 17th International Defence Industry Fair (IDEF 2025) at the Istanbul Expo Center in Türkiye. The event runs from 22nd to 27th July. Calidus is showcasing its products under the UAE National Pavilion, organised by the Tawazun Council for Defence and Security Empowerment.

The company's presence at IDEF 2025 marks its largest and most varied exhibition yet. Over 15 advanced products and technologies are being displayed on a dedicated platform within the UAE National Pavilion. This participation underscores Calidus' ambition to highlight its capabilities in the defence sector and promote national products on an international stage.

Calidus Displays Defence Innovations at IDEF 2025

Among the key exhibits are the MATV armoured combat support vehicle with the Al Heda missile launch platform, six models of the Al Heda missile system, and a scaled model of the CLS military vehicle manufacturing line. Additionally, there is a cockpit simulator for the B-250 aircraft and scaled models of both the B-250 light attack aircraft and B-250T advanced trainer.

Calidus is also presenting its expertise in subcomponent manufacturing. The company highlights its electro-optical (EO) systems, which include infrared technologies crucial for modern defence applications. These systems enhance detection and tracking accuracy across various environments, even in low visibility conditions.

The EO systems integrate thermal imaging, optical sensing, and laser rangefinding to provide advanced situational awareness. This enhances operational effectiveness and targeting precision. A specialised model of a locally produced military chassis designed for armoured tactical vehicles will also be showcased. This chassis is engineered for durability under heavy loads and harsh conditions.

Dr. Khalifa Murad Al Blooshi, Managing Director and CEO of Calidus Holding Group, stated that their participation aims to enhance defence industrial collaboration globally. He said it provides an opportunity to present technological capabilities that reflect the progress of the UAE’s defence industry.

Their efforts are backed by plans to launch next-generation systems powered by artificial intelligence. These systems are designed, developed, and assembled by Emirati professionals at Calidus facilities.
