Inaugural Cairo To Arar Flight Strengthens Saudi-Egypt Air Links
Cluster 2 Airports Company has initiated the first international flights from Cairo International Airport to Arar International Airport. This milestone was achieved under the supervision of Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region. The launch event saw attendance from senior officials of Cluster 2 Airports Company, Nile Air representatives, and various government agencies.
Eng. Ali Masrahi, CEO of Cluster 2 Airports Company, highlighted that this inaugural flight represents a significant step towards fulfilling the transportation and logistics strategy goals. It aligns with the National Aviation Strategy derived from Saudi Vision 2030. Eng. Masrahi emphasised their dedication to developing Saudi airport infrastructure to offer superior services to travellers.

He also noted that this flight is part of their continuous efforts to position Saudi airports as pivotal air transport hubs in the region. Eng. Masrahi expressed gratitude to Prince Faisal for his unwavering support and oversight, which have been crucial in attracting more international flights to Arar International Airport.
The governor's role in improving passenger experiences across all airports in the Northern Borders Region was acknowledged by Eng. Masrahi.
