BRIDGE Summit 2025 Showcases UAE's Leadership In Advanced Robotics And AI Partnerships
The BRIDGE Summit 2025 in Abu Dhabi gathered experts and leaders from various fields, including business, technology, media, and academia. Influencers and major tech companies from the UAE and worldwide also participated. This event served as a collaborative platform for sharing knowledge and fostering partnerships.
Kristine Mo, International Business Development Director at AI² Robotics, highlighted the significance of their first participation in the summit. She noted it as an opportunity to connect with stakeholders across different sectors. "The event strengthens cooperation and showcases the latest advancements in intelligent robotics," she stated.

AI² Robotics introduced two "Alphabot" robots at the summit. One robot served coffee to visitors, while the other performed musical shows. Attendees showed great interest by interacting with these robots and capturing video content. This engagement underscored the summit's role in familiarising the public with general-purpose robotic capabilities.
The company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BRIDGE, designating AI² Robotics as the strategic robotic partner of the summit. Mo emphasised that the UAE provides an ideal environment for adopting advanced robotic technologies. The company aims to expand partnerships and develop new use cases supporting key sectors in the country.
Mo explained that their robots operate using a proprietary "embodied foundation model." This model allows them to understand human commands, perceive surroundings, and perform tasks accurately. These robots are already utilised in industries like automotive manufacturing, semiconductor production, and public services at major Chinese airports.
AI² Robotics is also working on robotic applications for preparing coffee and ice cream. Plans are underway to introduce these innovations in public spaces soon. The company has experience integrating robots into human-centered environments, such as China's "Smart Cube" coffee service, where robots work alongside baristas to enhance customer experiences.
Inspiring Future Generations
The robots are featured in artistic performances and regularly appear on Chinese media platforms. These appearances showcase technological progress and aim to inspire young people to pursue STEM education. Mo stressed the importance of collaborating with media institutions to develop creative ways of interacting with robots.
Mo concluded by highlighting that strengthening cooperation with media can inspire future generations and expand technology's societal impact. By doing so, they hope to foster new interactions between humans and machines, enhancing creativity and innovation in various fields.
