Bold Technologies And My Aion Inc. Partner To Develop AI-Powered Urban Infrastructure Initiative In UAE

BOLD Technologies, a division of BOLD Holding, and My Aion Inc. have announced a partnership to create AION SENTIA Cognitive City. This advanced AI platform is designed to enhance and manage complex urban systems. The project, valued at $2.5 billion, follows a Build-Operate-Transfer model and will utilise MAIA, My Aion Inc.'s AI core engine, to integrate sectors like mobility, energy, education, healthcare, and digital services.

The launch event for this collaboration took place at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. It was attended by over 100 notable business and technology leaders. Attendees included representatives from major institutions and global companies such as Sequoia Capital, ADNOC, G42, Leonardo, Amazon, TikTok, Fincantieri, Stellantis, the Mexican Ambassador, the Italian Embassy in the UAE, Abu Dhabi Capital Group, US Capital Group, AV Investor S.A., Horizon Capital, and Netmore.

Representatives from the private office of Bold Holding's Chairman were present alongside senior officials from Abu Dhabi's government and public institutions. This presence highlights the initiative’s alignment with national innovation and development goals. The event showcased AION SENTIA's vision and framework. It demonstrated how advanced AI technologies will support intelligent urban operations through sensor networks and data analytics.

Abu Dhabi has been chosen as the global headquarters for this initiative due to its supportive regulatory environment and strong cybersecurity standards. The city’s established digital ecosystem aligns with the UAE’s digital transformation strategy. This positioning aims to facilitate international adoption of the platform.

"This initiative will support job creation for UAE nationals," stated Thani Al Thani Al Falasi, CEO of BOLD Technologies. "We’re excited to work alongside My Aion Inc. to bring this ambitious vision to life." Daniele Marinelli, CEO of My Aion Inc., added that relocating their global operations to Abu Dhabi marks a new chapter for their team. "The UAE offers the infrastructure and institutional support needed to scale responsibly and strategically," he said.

The partnership also plans collaborations with UAE universities to launch training programs aimed at upskilling the national workforce in AI and digital technologies. This effort supports local innovation while contributing significantly to the national AI ecosystem.
